How we scope the work
For an application, "maintenance" is not one thing. We separate four kinds of work so it is clear what a plan covers.
Server and runtime management
Operating system, PHP runtime, services and security updates of the environment.
Application management
Deployment and configuration checks, logs and reviewed minor dependency updates.
Major upgrades
Laravel and PHP upgrades and complex refactors are separate projects, not automatically part of a plan.
New functionality
Features and external integrations get their own proposal with scope and planning.

We assess your application first and determine which environment and management arrangements fit. You receive a proposal up front. Major upgrades, full code audits, complete performance projects and significant new features are not automatically covered by plan hours. Hosting resources, backup policy, monitoring, availability and SLA are defined explicitly for Laravel; we do not promise 24/7 human intervention or high availability by default.
The proposed work budget covers management and small improvements: deployment and configuration checks, reviewing logs, reviewed dependency updates and — from Plus onwards — optimisation. It is not a budget that pays for a framework upgrade or a new feature.
Laravel hourly rates have not been set. The confirmed rates of €35 and €89 per hour apply to WordPress work and are not automatically applied to Laravel.
A standard plan does not suit every application. For a larger or business-critical environment we propose custom hosting and an additional SLA — not a fourth standard plan. How a managed VPS relates to the application plan is still an open decision.
